Wedding Makeup should be natural . . . you at your radiant best and taken up a notch. Think skin that’s even and glows, eyes that are well-defined, flushed cheeks, and rosy lips.  You want to look back at your wedding photos and see a timeless, classic makeup.

“Pamela was exactly what this bride needed on her wedding day. She made me look and feel beautiful while also helping to keep me calm. Her MAC PRO Airbrushing is spectacular. My make-up looked light, fresh and natural and also provided great coverage and lasted throughout the day and night. I would love for Pamela to do my make-up everyday. She is a gem!”
Nora M., recent bride

High-Definition / Media Makeup by way of “airbrush” has quickly become the industry standard.  High definition makeup rules television and film screens. Even the brush strokes of a traditional foundation application are detectable in high resolution.  Media makeup is geared toward keeping up with the technological advancements of TV, film, and photography.

"Working with Pamela from Makeup Artist Charleston has been a pleasure. She really knows her product and how to adjust to different types of people. She is reliable, efficient and very easy to work with. Anyone that can get the glare off of my shiny head has to know what she is doing, and that is what Pamela brings to the table every time.”
Everett German, host “The Dog Pound” Comcast Channel 2

Portrait Makeup should minimize any skin imperfections . . . even out skin tone, minimize pore appearance, conceal blemishes and dark areas.  You don’t need a ton of makeup to be camera-ready.  Lighting is key for the optimal makeup results in your portraiture.  A strategic placement of the correct product is all it takes to be picture perfect.

"I worked with Pamela on two photography shoots in Charleston, South Carolina and both had fantastic results. One assignment was a wedding and the other a corporate portrait assignment on location. Twelve different corporate executives in 12 different locations for Kiawah Island. Each shoot had its own complexities, and Pamela ALWAYS came through.  I could not have had the great results without her expert experience and her fantastic personality. She is AMAZING! I would recommend her for ANY type of make-up assignment."

Fashion & Performance Makeup.   Editorial looks come into play in the fashion and performance world.  Strong makeup that will stand up under harsh lighting, with textures and consistencies that are unique and eye-catching are the goal.  “Anything goes” is the mantra in this theme-driven realm of makeup.

Pamela was the makeup artist for a salon photo shoot in which I was a model and stylist. She executed 3 different looks per model: “pure,” “progressive,” and finally moving into “uncensored.”  She is quick, accurate, and very focused on her makeup to matching the style and theme of the shoot.  When it came to our uncensored looks, Pamela really took off, thinking creatively, working outside the box.  From a model’s point of view, Pamela is as gentle as her makeup.  I rarely wear foundation but her airbrush technique made me feel very natural. She really knows her color palette.  I can’t wait to work with her again.  Thanks Pamela . . . YOU ROCK!
